What's involved in installing these solid bushings? You'll need to remove your subframe and then your standard bushings. There's a few ways to remove the standard bushings which option you choose is up to you (google is your friend). Once you've got the standard bushings removed you need to press fit the new bushings in their place.

What are subframe bushings

TIP: put the bushings in the freezer for a few hours before installing them. This will shrink them slightly to make things a little easier. What’s the advantage of these bushings? The solid bushings offer a more solid rear end = better driver control and feel and also raise the subframe to help correct the roll center on lowered vehicles.Do these cause much vibration/noise in the cabin? Not really.

Obviously anything solid or more rigid is going to cause an increase in noise and vibration however I'd hardly say that it's noticeable. Chances are if you're installing these you've already got coilovers, your car is lowered, you've got an aftermarket exhaust etc. Etc.Do these bushings change the height of the subframe?Yes, they raise the subframe and raising the subframe improves the center of gravity.

SPL Parts PRO Solid Subframe Conversion Bushings (SSB) are designed to allow S14/S15 subframes to be mounted on the S13 chassis or vice-versa.Our Solid Bushings prevent the subframe from 'bouncing around' under drivetrain torque or suspension load, maintaining optimum suspension geometry and reducing wheel hop. Our slide-in shim system allows you to quickly raise or lower the subframe to fine-tune the roll center/anti-squat behavior to your preference.

Raising the subframe will compensate roll center for a lowered car at the expense of increasing anti-squat. Lowering the subframe will decrease anti-squat at the expense of roll center. This is NOT Formula Drift legal!
